Moving forward

We took a trip up to Chicago, to Dr. Mercola’s clinic to visit with our therapist in person.  Boy, that is a LONG drive.  My mom was able to go with us too!  It was a good trip.  I am very thankful that we had the opportunity to go.  In fact, I am very thankful that my family has been given such a wonderful opportunity for experiencing so much healing and growth.  It seems strange to say that about such a traumatic event that has caused so much hurt and worry, but that event has been the jumping board of opportunity for my whole family.

I am learning to look at my life differently now.  All of my past hurts and fears that I have been carrying around for so long are no longer a hindrance.  I am letting them go and moving forward – living in the now instead of dwelling in the past.  It is making for a really bright and wonderful future.
